Feat: Battle Mage

You are skilled in the use of weapons of war. Perhaps you have mercenary or military experience, or simply take a more hands-on approach to combat than most arcane spellcasters. Whatever the reason, your versatility on the field of battle is enhanced by broader proficiency at arms than an arcane spellcaster class normally allows.

Prerequisite: Arcane spellcaster and base attack bonus +1.

Benefit: You gain proficiency in bucklers and all Simple and Martial weapons except Two-Handed Melee Weapons. If your class grants proficiency in light armors except metallic armor, that exception no longer applies.
